"Tommasino" holiday home is located in Pieve S. Stefano, just outside Lucca. It is a marvellous hilly area which offers an unforgettable view of our historical city. The house is in the heart of the traditional Tuscan countryside, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards: it is the ideal place for those who long for quietness, harmony with nature and tradition. In fact, it is possible to visit the wine growers' cellars inside the farm and taste the olive oil produced on the spot. Have a look at the breathtaking panorama around the house (see photo).
"Tommasino" house, named after the old farmer who lived there about 200 years ago, was originally formed by the cowshed on the ground floor and the farmer’s living area on the first floor. Now it has been completely restored and it consists of two double bedrooms, a bathroom, an open space including a fully equipped kitchen, the dining room and the living room.
When restoring the building, nothing was left behind: the mosaic tiles in the bathroom, the wooden floor-covering all over the house, the dolby sound round system, the plasma satellite TV set, the DVD player and a private entrance with two parking places.
Pieve S: Stefano is in an ideal position: in a 15 minute drive you can reach the centre of Lucca which, for its magnificent walls, numerous churches and palaces, is one of the most famous and important historical cities in Tuscany. But, if you want to enjoy a relaxing walk by the sea or a busy afternoon shopping, Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are only a 30 minute drive far from it.
